Professional Development for Schools
- I worked on creating a data analysis and visualization curriculum for high school teachers for East Bay Educational Collaborative. I taught them the concepts of data collection, visualization, and using CODAP tool during the full-day online workshop. Professional Development work for Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Healthcare for High School teachers. (2022-2023)
- Organized and led workshops for professional development for high school teachers covering the concepts and tools of data visualizations (2020-2022)
- Created two activity books for data visualization activities in different disciplines for high school teachers and students. (2020)

- Guest speaker for East Providence High School Virtual Summer Camp, Introduced to students CS fields specifically Data Science field and careers. 2020

- Advisor for Muslim Student Association at Rhode Island College (MSA) since (2018-2021).
- Collaborating with RI STEM Center for enhancing RI CS education in high schools. I represented RIC in the CS4RI event. (2017-2021)
- Working group member for RIC Open Textbook Leadership. My role was to help RIC faculty with any questions related to Designing eBooks and online course materials. I also help other CS professors finding alternative reference books for their courses that are free. This is part of the five years Rhode Island Open Textbook Initiative. The working group achieved savings of of $594,700. The savings from my courses only were $16,100. (2017-2021)
